-4/3, Officers responded to LiquorMart on Rt. 322 for a driver appearing unconscious and slumped over the wheel. As Officers checked on the driver, they determined her to be intoxicated. After investigating, Officers arrested the 51-year-old Pennsauken female for Driving Under the Influence. She was processed and released to a third party pending a future court date.
-4/3, Officers responded to a Quail Ridge residence for a check on wellbeing of a resident inside his vehicle. As officers investigated, they determined that the driver was intoxicated. He was arrested and charged with DUI. He was released to a third party pending a future court date.
-4/8, Officers responded to several businesses on Beckett Rd. for a report of suspects passing counterfeit bills. It was reported that the males entered Taco Caballito, Classy Cow and Philly Pretzel Factory, passed counterfeit $100 bills and left with cash and items. The $400 in counterfeit bills were taken as evidence and the suspects left the area. The incident has been turned over to the Detective Unit.
-4/10, Officers responded to a Paulsboro Rd. residence for a suspicious person report. It was reported that two females in religious garments attempted to gain entry into a residence. With the doors locked and the owners not allowing entry, the females left the area. Similar incidents have occurred in other towns with the suspects gaining entry into religious buildings and stealing money or assaulting religious leaders.
-4/11, Officers responded to a High Hill Farms residence for a Theft report. It was reported that another resident stole a bag of clothing from the victim’s property. Upon investigation, Officers learned the identity of the suspect and charged the 36-year-old Logan Twp. man with Trespassing and Theft. He was released pending a future court date.
-4/12, Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Heron Dr. While conducting the stop, Officers learned the driver had an NCIC warrant from Arizona for Possession of CDS With Intent to Distribute. Officers placed the 25-year-old Philadelphia woman under arrest for this warrant, and she was additionally charged with being a Fugitive from Justice. She was processed and turned over to the Salem County Jail.
-4/14, Officers responded to a Country Crossings residence for a Criminal Mischief report. It was reported that sometime overnight, someone scratched the hood of the victim’s vehicle. It is unknown at this time how much the damage will cost to repair.
-4/14, While on patrol, Officers observed a vehicle disregard a traffic signal at Center Square Rd. and Commerce Blvd. The vehicle then left the area at a high rate of speed, ran off the road and struck a tree. As officers approached the area, the driver fled, but surrendered shortly after. The 28-year-old Penns Grove man was issued several motor vehicle summonses and released.
-4/17, Officers responded to a Hidden Creek residence for a possible Burglary to a motor vehicle. It was reported that the owner noticed the vehicle door was open and drops of blood
appeared to be on the vehicle. Nothing appeared to have been taken from the vehicle, and the incident was turned over to the Detective Unit.
-4/19, Officers responded to Camping World on Heron Dr. for a Theft report. It was reported that sometime over the weekend, someone removed the catalytic converter from one of the motor homes. The converter is valued at approx. $1,000.
-4/25, Officers received a Criminal Mischief report that several of the swings were damaged at the Bridgeport playground. The value of the damage is estimated at $80.
