4/17: A Harvest Road resident reported that someone entered his backyard and stole miscellaneous scrap items that were being stored there. The value of the stolen items was estimated at $400.
4/17: Scrap metal valued at $800 was reported stolen from a construction site on the 600 block of Heron Drive.
4/18: A Heidi Lane resident reported that someone entered her 2010 Honda sometime overnight and rifled through its contents. The vehicle had been left unsecured at the time and nothing was reported stolen.
4/20: Police charged a 21 y/o Carneys Point man with hindering apprehension following a Center Sq. Road vehicle stop in which he provided a false name due to an active warrant. He was processed, charged and released on his own recognizance.
4/21: Officers, responding to a reported suspicious vehicle, located a 2014 Ford Econoline van at a business on High Hill Rd. that had been stolen out of New Castle, De. The vehicle was impounded and Delaware State Police were notified of the recovery.
4/21: A High Hill Rd. resident reported that someone entered his pole barn and removed several items for their scrap value. The person/s responsible entered the property by breaking out ground level window.
4/22: Police charged a 46 y/o Wilmington, De. man with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a vehicle stop on Center Sq. Road. He was processed and released pending court.
4/22: A resident in the High Hill Farms development reported the theft of jewelry sometime over the past several weeks. The victim reports that several gold chains and charms valued at an estimated $7,000 were taken from the master bedroom. Several persons of interest have been developed and complaints are pending.
4/23: Officers charged a 25 y/o Logan man, David Shakespeare, and his 24 y/o wife, Cierra, with theft, theft by deception, conspiracy and unlawful impersonation after they listed a rental property on Craigslist and received a security deposit of $250 for property they do not own. Bail was set at $2,500 and service is pending.
4/24: Police charged a 56 y/o Logan man with simple assault and criminal mischief following a disturbance on Hancock St. The man was processed and released pending court.
4/26: Officers investigated a theft of copper and other metals from a cell tower on Heron Drive. Representatives from AT&T reported that an estimated $1000 worth of copper and ground connections were stolen sometime over the past few days.
