3/9:  A Pedricktown man reported that an acquaintance borrowed his car, a 2000 Honda Civic, while he was working on Technology Drive and failed to return it.  The car was entered NCIC and subsequently located abandoned on Kaighn Avenue in Camden City.  Complaints are pending against the accused, a 35 y/o Penns Grove woman.

3/11:  The Department investigated several reports of phone scams involving callers posing as IRS agents and demanding money or identifying information from unsuspecting residents.  Once again, residents are reminded that legitimate businesses and government agencies do not use “shake down” tactics.  .

3/14:  A Woolwich Twp. woman reported that her vehicle was burglarized while it was parked in the Super Fitness lot on Beckett Road.   The suspect gained entry by breaking out the front passenger side window and, once inside, removed a “Marc Jacobs” handbag which contained various work related documents.

3/15:  An Egg Harbor Twp. woman reported that her vehicle was burglarized while it was parked at the DREAM Park on Rt. 130.   The suspect gained entry by breaking out the rear passenger side window and, once inside, removed a purse containing her checkbook, personal identifiers and a debit card.

3/17:  Police charged a 21 y/o Logan man with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a vehicle stop on Center Square Road.  He was processed and released pursuant to John’s Law.

3/17:  Police charged a 47 y/o Swedesboro woman with DWI following a vehicle stop on High Hill Road.  She was processed and released as per John’s Law.

3/18:  Police charged a 32 y/o Pedricktown man with hindering apprehension after he provided false information to officers during a crash investigation.

3/18:  A High Hill Farms resident reported that someone entered her residence and stole a check from her checkbook.  The check was then cashed in the amount of $212 at a nearby bank.  Police are reviewing surveillance footage and complaints are pending suspect identification.
