5/18: Officials at Penske on Heron Drive reported that someone stole a 2007 Freightliner tractor from their facility sometime over the weekend (5/15-17). The tractor was described as a day cab, yellow in color and valued at $60,000. It was entered NCIC in an effort to facilitate its recovery.
5/19: Police investigated a road rage incident which culminated with the two parties exchanging blows on the side of Rt. 130. A Calgary man reported that he was cut off by a West Deptford man while travelling on the Commodore Barry Bridge. The aggressive driving continued onto Rt. 130 N/B where both parties stopped and engaged one another. Complaints are pending.
5/19: Officers investigated a theft of scrap copper and a power auger from a residence on Asbury Station Road. The stolen items were valued at $300.
5/20: Officers charged an 18 y/o Philadelphia man with simple assault following an employee dispute at Rastelli’s on Sharptown Road. He was processed and released pending court.
5/20: Copper wiring valued at $1,500 was reportedly stolen from a Bridgeport cell tower sometime over the past 30 days.
5/22: Police charged a 23 y/o Logan man with filing a false police report following an investigation into a property damage claim. He was processed and released pending court.
5/23: Police charged a two Swedesboro juveniles, ages 14 and 15, with criminal mischief following a report of two youths damaging fencing behind Carriage Lane. The matter is pending juvenile proceedings.
5/23: Police charged a 19 y/o Swedesboro man and an 18 y/o Logan man with possession of marijuana following a vehicle stop on Center Square Road. They were processed and released pending court.
5/23: A Quail Ridge resident reported that someone, possibly an acquaintance, stole various pieces of jewelry from her over the past several months. Police are investigating and complaints may be pending.
5/23: Police charged a 33 y/o Logan man with theft following a complaint at a residence on Paulsboro Road. The accused, Matthew Bartholomew, allegedly stole $2,400 in cash from a relative while they slept. He then fled the residence when the theft was discovered. He was located and taken into custody on multiple outstanding warrants in excess of $6,000. A search incident to arrest located the aforementioned currency as it was reported. He was processed and remanded to the Salem County Jail in default.
5/25: A 2001 Wabash 53’ trailer was reported stolen from a warehouse on Center Square Road sometime over the weekend. The trailer, owned by a Camden company, contained a quantity of “B” grade pallets.
