2/5: Incident to a motor vehicle stop, a 41 year old Carneys Point man was taken into custody on several outstanding warrants. He was processed and turned over to Carneys Point Police in default of $1000 bail.
2/5: Lakeside Refrigerated Services, an Oldmans Creek Rd business, reported the theft of 24 pallets of frozen beef and lamb products, with a value in excess of $100,000, were stolen from their facility. A truck driver fraudulently represented himself as a driver from a legitimate company and had the product loaded onto his truck by Lakeside Refrigerated shippers. It was several hours before the theft was discovered. A cooperative investigation is ongoing.
2/5: Police responded to Jet.com, 200 Birch Creek Rd, and assisted in escorting a terminated employee from the facility. No charges were filed.
2/7: Patrol officers attempted to stop a vehicle for speeding on Route 322 but the driver refused to stop. Police engaged in a pursuit through Woolwich and Harrison Townships and subsequently apprehended Michael Cress of Morton, PA near the Glassboro border. Cress was charged with DWI, Eluding Police, Refusal to Submit to Breath Testing and numerous other motor vehicle offenses. He was processed and remanded to the Salem County Jail in lieu of $15,000 full cash bail.
2/8: Incident to a dispute at a Beckett Rd residence police charged a 23 year old Logan man with assault and a 21 year old Sewell woman with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of hypodermic needles.
2/9: Incident to a motor vehicle stop, police arrested a 37 year old Pennsville man on an outstanding Larceny warrant from Alabama. He was processed and remanded to the Salem County Jail to await extradition to Alabama.
2/11: A Springer Rd resident reported that her vehicle was burglarized during the overnight hours on 2/10-11/16. Prescription medication was reportedly stolen from within.
2/11: Incident to a motor vehicle stop, Tresean Davis, of Pennsville, was arrested and charged with Possession of Crack Cocaine, Possession of Under 50g of Marijuana, Failure to Surrender CDS to police, Possession of Drug Paraphernaila, Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe, Providing False Information to Police and numerous motor vehicle violations. He was processed and subsequently remanded to the Salem County Jail in default of $5,000 full cash bail.
