-7/1, Officers responded to a vehicle burglary /theft overnight in the Old Orchard development. The suspect broke a window, entered the vehicle and removed the owner’s wallet.

-7/2, Someone stole an orange mountain bike valued at $120 from the front lawn of a Logan Woods residence during the overnight hours.

-7/6, A Country Crossing resident reported that someone stole a package from her front step. Through investigation, a suspect was identified, and the items were returned to the owner. Complaints have been signed in this matter.

-7/6, Officers responded to a Criminal Mischief report where the Logan Woods resident had his vehicle’s tires damaged overnight. Value of the tires is approx. $600.

-7/7, Officers responded to Country Crossings for a burglary/theft to a vehicle. The owner noticed that someone entered his vehicle and removed approx. $5 in spare change.

-7/11, Officers were dispatched to the Wawa on Center Square Rd for a report of a male using drugs in the bathroom. Officers located the 34 year old Woodstown resident in the parking lot, appearing to be under the influence. Upon further investigation, the male was arrested for possession of a hypodermic needle. He was charged and released on a summons.

-7/13, Officers spoke with a 38 year old Lindenwold woman who reported someone used her credit card to charge over $2000 on Amazon. The male suspect is a 33 year old High Hill Farms resident. The Detective Unit is still investigating.

-7/13, Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Heron Dr. While checking the status of the driver, officers learned that the 46 year old Salem man had a suspended driver’s license, and was also an NCIC hit from Media, Pa, originally wanted for Terroristic Threats. The suspect was lodged in Salem County Jail after being charged as a Fugitive from Justice.

-7/14, A Greenfields resident and a female 21 year old Salem resident engaged in a fight over the alleged theft of a check book. As a result of the investigation, the Salem resident was arrested and released after being charged with theft and simple assault.

-7/18, Officers responded to a Main St residence for a report of Criminal Mischief. Investigation revealed that someone damaged several mailboxes with a vehicle, causing approx. $150 in damages.

-7/18, Officers responded to the Chelten House on Heron Dr for a theft report. Officers were advised that someone stole a cell phone from the lunch room. Investigation led to the arrest of a 33 year old Wilmington, DE man for the theft and several outstanding warrants. The male was charged with the theft and released on a summons, and was also ROR on the warrants.   

-7/19, Officers were dispatched to Greenyard on Pedricktown Rd for a theft of a cell phone. The victim reported that while working, someone entered her locker and stole her iPhone, valued at approx. $800.

-7/20, Officers were dispatched to Green Chef for a Trespassing complaint. Patrols learned that there was a dispute between an employee and the suspect who was waiting for someone to finish work. After the argument, the 50 year old Wilmington, DE man departed the area, and was quickly located by Police. While resolving the matter, it was learned that the suspect had an outstanding warrant from Pennsville. The suspect was processed and released with a new court.

-7/21, Officers responded to the Wawa on Center Square Rd for a report of a fight. Upon arrival, officers learned that a fight ensued between workers on a shuttle van due to an incident on the van. After investigating, officers charged a 35 year old Philadelphia man with Simple Assault. He was given a summons and released with a pending court date.

-7/25, Officers responded to a construction site on Center Square Rd for a Criminal Mischief Report. Upon arrival, officers observed a window shattered on a fork lift, which is valued at approx. $300.

-7/28, Officers responded to a High Hill Farms residence for a Criminal Mischief Report. On scene, officers observed a damaged mailbox that occurred overnight from a vehicle striking it. Damage was valued at approx. $550.

-7/28, Officers responded to a Commerce Blvd business for a verbal dispute between employees. While investigating, a 26 year old female from Camden provided false information about her identity. Police quickly learned her true identity, and arrested her for Hindering Apprehension due to having an NCIC warrant from the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Dept. She was charged and lodged in the Salem County Jail.

-7/28, Officers responded to the Wawa on Center Square Rd for a Theft report. The victim advised officers that while sleeping in his vehicle, someone entered and removed $1700 cash from his console.

-7/29, Officers responded to a Logan Woods residence for a criminal mischief report. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the resident who advised someone “keyed” their vehicle overnight, causing approx. $2,000 in damage.
