-5/6, Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 322. While conducting the stop, Officers
determined the driver to be intoxicated. As a result, Officers arrested the 52-year-old Camden
man and charged him with Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and turned over to a
third party with a future court date.
-5/6, Officers responded to Target on Creekview Ave. for a Theft report. It was reported that an
employee stole an Apple watch (valued at approx. $280) and four Apple Airpods (valued at
approx. $250 each). The suspect, a 44-year-old Wilmington, De. man, was arrested and charged
with Theft. He was processed and released on a summons with a future court date.
-5/7, Officers attempted to stop a vehicle on I-295, but the suspect fled at a high rate of speed.
After investigating, Officers were able to identify the driver as a 37-year-old Blackwood man.
Officers contacted the driver who turned himself in to Police. He was charged with Eluding and
released on a summons with a future court date.
-5/12, Officers responded to Fulton Bank on Village Center Dr. for a Fraud report. It was
reported that the suspect was still inside the bank attempting to cash a fraudulent check. As a
result of the investigation, Officers charged a 71-year-old Philadelphia man with Forgery. He was
released on a summons with a future court date.
-5/13, Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on I-295. While conducting the stop, the driver
provided false information as to her identity to hide several outstanding warrants. As a result, the
28-year-old Salem woman was charged with Hindering Apprehension. She was released on a
summons with a future court date and released with new court dates for her warrants.
-5/15, Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Crossroads Blvd. While conducting the stop, a
pedestrian approached and began interfering with the Officers and making threats. As Officers
addressed the pedestrian for his interference and threats, he began using profanity and continued
the threats. While being placed under arrest, the pedestrian resisted and continued with the
threats. As a result, the 28-year-old Salem man was arrested and charged with Terroristic Threats,
Obstruction of Law, Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct and Harassment. He was processed
and lodged in the Salem County Jail.
-5/19, Officers responded to the Acme on Center Square Rd. for a Shoplifting report. It was
reported that the suspect placed approx. $400 worth of items into a cart and left the store without
paying. After investigating, Officers located the suspect, and placed the 34-year-old Logan Twp.
woman under arrest for Shoplifting. She was processed and released on a summons with a future
court date.
-5/20, Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Pureland Dr. While conducting the stop,
Officers determined the driver to be intoxicated. As a result, Officers arrested and charged the
26-year-old Wisconsin man with Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and released to
a third party with a future court date.
-5/26, Officers responded to Burlington Coat Factory on Rt. 322 for a Theft report. It was
reported that approx. 100 feet of copper wiring was stolen from the warehouse. The value of the
wire is estimated at $500.
-5/26, Officers investigated a suspicious motor vehicle in the parking lot of the Peachwood Swim
Club. While investigating, Officers observed a handgun on the front seat. As a result, Officers
arrested a 32-year-old Philadelphia man and charged him with Unlawful Possession of a
Weapon. He was processed and lodged in the Salem County Jail.
-5/26, Officers responded to the Acme parking lot on Center Square Rd. for a report of
Lewdness. It was reported that the suspect exposed himself while in his vehicle to an employee.
After investigating, Officers arrested the 23-year-old Logan Twp. man and charged him with
Lewdness. He was processed and released on a summons with a future court date.
-5/26, Officers responded to Fred Beans Auto Parts on Heron Dr for a Theft report. It was
reported that sometime overnight, someone stole the catalytic converter from one of the vehicles
on the lot. The value of the converter is estimated at $900.
-5/30, Officers responded to a Burglary and Theft report at Atlantic Valve Services on Killdeer
Ct. It was reported that over the weekend, someone entered the parking lot and building and stole
tools and two catalytic converters. The value of the converters is approx. $3,500. Miscellaneous
tools stolen were valued at approx. $8,000. This incident was turned over to the Detective Unit.
-5/31, Officers responded to Wawa on Center Square Rd. for a Theft report. It was reported that
the suspect received $93 worth of gas and left without paying.
